SOUL OF A SWIMMER

Soul of a Swimmer Cover.jpg

On February 14th, 2018, seventeen lives were unexpectedly stolen in one of America’s worst school mass shootings. Fourteen of those lives were students at the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Amongst the fourteen was 17-year-old Nicholas Dworet, an exceptional swimmer who, on the eve of his college signing, stood on the threshold of Olympic possibility.  Two years after the tragic event Carla Albano, herself a competitive swimmer, wrote a biography memorializing Nicholas Dworet's fleeting yet determined life; “Soul of a Swimmer.”
